Drone Services in Des Moines & Across Iowa

Aerial Photography, Construction Progress Video & Stockpile Volume Estimates

Hanks Drone Services provides aerial photos, video, and mapping for builders, developers, brokers, and material yards in Des Moines and throughout Iowa.

FAA-certified and insured, serving Iowa since 2018.

Construction Progress Documentation

Keep owners and project teams updated with aerial photos and video from site preparation through completion. Consistent viewpoints help document milestones and compare progress between visits.

Schedule weekly, biweekly, monthly, or project milestone visits to fit your needs.

Stockpile Mapping & Volume Estimates:

Get a clearer picture of your material inventory with drone mapping and estimated stockpile volumes in cubic yards. We help ready mix producers, aggregate suppliers, and material yards document what’s on site and track changes over time.

Receive an annotated aerial image and a summary report explaining the estimate, method, and key assumptions. Schedule a one-time inventory check, quarterly measurements, or visits to multiple locations.

*Any and all Deer Recovery services with or without Thermal Drone "Assist" will first be cleared with DNR and the deer must be "already" legally shot by a current licensed hunter under their "tag" and the licensed hunter is not using nor will  use the drone to hunt or pursue any game, neither will the drone operator at any time. Therefore the drone is not, nor will ever be used to “hunt” or “locate game animals” in the regulatory sense, nor any other sense.
